Time at last...

Time at last....yes, I have more than 5 minutes ( knock on wood) to myself to sit down a try to update what has been happening the past month in my life. Weston is growing a TON and he is showing it by how many bottles he is chugging down during the day. He is always hungry and I am just waiting for the 4 month mark so I can hopefully satisfy him with some rice cereal. I am also praying that it will help hold his food down also due to the fact that he loves to spit up. All he does is spit up these days. He has had acid reflux since birth and the spit up just keeps on coming and coming. I feel like we go through 5 outfits a day just because he drenches them with spit up after every feeding. At one point he was taking 4 ounces and I swear spitting up 3. He is gaining weight fine though, now so I am really not that concerned with him not keeping enough down. He loves to babble and sometimes Ryan can get him talking up a storm and it is just the cutest thing ever! Every night I put him in bed at 8 and for 45 minutes we can hear him babble and laugh at his mobile before he puts himself to sleep. He is such a good baby and I never had a lot of issues putting him to sleep. However, naps during the day can be a challenge cause he is a huge cat napper, which is a good things and a bad thing at times. He takes around 5 naps a day but for only 30 to 40 minutes each time, which can be hard for me when I am trying to get things done. He also has been spoiled during his daytime naps because family, including myself, LOVE to hold every second on the day including nap times. So I am trying to get out of the habit of holding him so he can learn to sooth himself during his daytime naps. Nights are a blessing though and the Lord knew how much I adore sleep and I couldn't survive without it,lol.

The moment Weston came out of me he was playing with his tongue and we have nicknamed him the lizard because he is always playing around with it. It is the cutest thing and just one of the many quirks that I love so much about him!

Isn't he an angel....I love watching him so peaceful.

He is watching the television in this picture and Ryan just loved it and had to take a picture. When I saw him doing it I freaked out but then realized it was golf and just had to laugh.

Lastly, Weston loves to smile...just not for the camera. It is so frustrating because the moment I pick up the camera he looks at it and for some reason he becomes this serious baby who just doesn't want to smile. He is so camera shy and I just don't know why. I always say he is so happy but when it comes to proof in pictures I just can't seem to get that perfect moment. So if you want to see him smile you are just going to have to come see him!
