June

We finally bought a home!!!!! We are living the country life and are having so much fun! I am having so much fun decorating it and Ryan is in heaven with all the land that we have. The kids are never bored with all the fun things in our backyard, and I truly feel so blessed to have finally found our Home Sweet Home.

Little Miss B helping me in my mini garden beds. We decided this year not to focus on a garden because of all the work involved in moving but I am having fun planting some tomatoes, squash, peppers, and cucumber in these garden beds. The blessing with this home is it already came with so many raspberry bush, 4 apple trees, cherry trees, plum and peach trees as well as plenty of strawberry bushes. Never had a garden before, and now I am completely spoiled with this amazing yard with so many fruits and veggies in it:)
My little country girl.

Weston gave his first talk in primary today and did amazing. He went up there and spoke so clearly without being shy at all. He has grown up so much since Brooklyn has come into our lives and it amazes me at the handsome, hilarious, and sweet boy he is. We are finally over the crazy trantrum stage and I am truly having so much fun with him every day.
The day we moved into our home we discovered that the "mouser cat" that came with the home had a kitten that we were not anticipating. However, the kids are in love with her so we named her Snickers and decided we might as well have 2 "mouser cats". Speaking of "mouser cats"...so not use to the sight of these cats eating a mouse in front of me and I probably will never get use to that sight.Yuck!
LOVE the sunsets from our backyard. Summer is here, and I love going outside with Ryan in the evening when the kids are asleep and watching the sunsets and enjoying some much needed alone time with him.
My little brother got married and I am so happy for him. We went to Seattle for the wedding and him and his bride, Marianne, we so beautiful!

Weston having fun with Grammy and Grampy Marshall.

This sums up the entire trip for Brooklyn. Traveling with little kids is hard. There is just no other way to say it. It is hard!!! Take a teething, hungry, tired, crabby 1 year old and you get a very stressed out trip for a majority of the time. I was in survival mode a lot during this trip just keeping her happy, and coming home for the sake of Brooklyn was needed for both parents;)

No smile out of the girl...I was lucky to catch her not scream at this point in the day.

The best part about this trip is how much she loved my sister. Brooklyn has always been a momma's girl and getting her to go to a stranger is impossible. However, she LOVED  Auntie Lindsay and I blame it on the fact that we look identical and she must have had the mindset of " well if she looks like my mom than it may be safe to go to her"

We got the question " are you guys twins?" a lot....we have gotten it our whole lives and I think we always will:)

We went to the zoo on Saturday and the kids loved it. Brooklyn isn't showing it of course, but they both enjoyed all the animals despite the poring rain.

Love my family and miss them so so much!
We come home and Little Miss B becomes her happy self again.

Weston won his first fish at the park 2 weeks ago and was so so happy. However, the fish died 1 week later. Surprise, surprise on that one.

My dad came back home with us after the wedding and we had so much fun with him. Weston and him were inseparable, and we convinced him that the country life here in Rexburg is the way to live:) Now getting my mom out here in the middle of winter is going to be the challenge for us.

My little family at a trip to Yellowstone. Loved it!!!
